The lab courses are polarizing among students; some love them, some hate them, some are just overwhelmed. Despite obvoius problems we want to discuss why the labcourses polarize as much and what is necessary to make also theorists love the labcourses. Some pilot projects and ideas to reform the labcourses will also be presented.
