Wie werden neue Professorinnen und Professoren berufen? Wer entscheidet darüber? Und wie kann ich als Studi zu einer guten Auswahl beitragen?
Wie läuft das ganze ab?
Es wird eine Berufungskommission gebildet, in welcher auch Studis ein Stimmrecht haben. Dabei wird auf verschiedene Aspekte geachtet, wie z.B. Forschung und Lehre. Letzteres ist vorallem für Studis interessant und wird auch maßgeblich von diesen bewertet.
Wer darf mitentscheiden?
In dieser Kommission sind zwei studentische Vertreter die das gleiche Stimmrecht haben wie alle anderen Mitglieder der Kommission.
Wie kann ich mit entscheiden?
Du kannst zwar nicht direkt mitentscheiden, aber du kannst deine
beiden Vertreter bei der Entscheidung unterstützen. Am 21.02.19 werden drei potentielle Profs eingeladen und halten eine Lehrprobe und einen wissenschaftlichen Vortrag. Außerdem werden die potentiellen Profs eine Stunde lang von uns Studierenden allein befragt. Dabei brauchen wir eure Hilfe. Kommt zu allen drei Vorträgen und stellt kritische Fragen!
Wann?
Am 21.02.19 finden die Vorträge statt. Am 18.02.19 um 16 Uhr in Seminarraum der II. Physik, wollen wir im Rahmen eines Fachschaftsseminar Ideen, Konzepte und Fragen erarbeiten um speziell die Lehre und die Motivation der potentiellen Kandidaten und Kanditaninnen zu testen.

How are new professors elected? Who makes the decision? And how can I as a student participate to a good choice?
How does it work?
An appointing committee is build in which students actively participate. Several aspects are taken into account, such as i.e. research and teaching. The latter is especially interesting for students and mainly rated by those.
Who is allowed to vote within the appointing committee?
There are two student representatives in this committee which have the same voting power as the other on board.
How can I participate?
Even tough you can not directly vote, you can support your representatives making a good choice. On Feb. 21 three potential candidates are invited to give a teaching and research talk (see time table below). Additionally the candidates are interviewed by the students alone. Therefore we need your help! Come to all three talks and ask sceptical questions!
When?
On Feb. 21/2019 the talks are held. On Feb. 18/2019 at 4 pm. in the seminar room of the II. Institute, we want to invite you to a fachschafts seminar to develop ideas, concepts and questions to especially test teaching abilities and the motivation of the candidates.
