Erstsemesterprogramm Wintersemester 23/24
Liebe Erstsemester*innen,
ergänzend zum Vorkurs der Fachgruppe bieten wir (die Fachschaft, Studis, die schon länger Physik studieren) ein Programm für alle an, die neu mit einem Physikstudium in Köln beginnen.
Gemeinsam wollen wir die Uni, die Physik und die Stadt kennen lernen, feiern, Fragen und Schwierigkeiten thematisieren, besprechen, wie man sinnvoll ans Studium ran geht etc.
Die Teilnahme am gesamten Erstsemester-Programm ist selbstverständlich nicht verpfichtend, aber allen, die ein Bachelor- oder Lehramtsstudium in Physik beginnen, dringend zu empfehlen. …

As every year, there is a poster session in the Foyer in which the BCGS students present their work.
We invite everyone to join and have some interesting insights in the research of the different working groups in Cologne and Bonn and to the possibility to chat with other students about this work!
GPK: Physics of viruses

Lecture Hall III
Ulrich Schwarz from Heidelberg University will give a lecture on the topic of „Physics of viruses“. He will talk about how physical laws can help to better understand the different stages of the life cycle of viruses and how they set the limits of virus structures, replication and spread.
Festival contre le racisme
| Der AStA organisiert vom 22.05 bis zum 25.05 ein kostenloses Festival mit Musik, Lesungen, Kinoabenden, Kunstaktionen und Comedy Shows, alles mit dem Ziel sich kritisch mit Rassismus, Faschismus und Sexismus auseinander zu setzten.

The AStA is organising a free festival from the 22nd to the 25th of May that will have live music, readings, comedy shows, art events and films being show, all with the aim of critically inspect racism, sexism and fascism.
