Berufungskommission – die Fachschaft informiert
Wie werden neue Professorinnen und Professoren berufen? Wer entscheidet darüber? Und wie kann ich als Studi zu einer guten Auswahl beitragen?
Wie läuft das Ganze ab?
Es wird eine Berufungskommission gebildet, in welche auch Studis Stimmrecht haben. Dabei wird auf verschiedene Aspekte geachtet, wie z.B. Forschung und Lehre. Letzteres ist vor allem für Studis interessant und wird maßgeblich von diesen bewertet.
Wer darf mitentscheiden?
In dieser Kommission sind drei studentische Vertreter, die das gleich Stimmrecht haben wie alle anderen Mitglieder der Kommission.
Wie kann ich mitentscheiden?
Du kannst zwar nicht direkt mitentscheiden, aber du kannst deine drei Vertreter bei der Entscheidung unterstützen.
Am 22.05.19 werden drei potentielle Profs eingeladen und halten eine Lehrprobe und einen wissenschaftlichen Vortrag. Außerdem werden die potentiellen Profs eine Stunde lang von uns Studierenden allein befragt. Dabei brauchen wir eure Hilfe. Kommt zu den Vorträgen und stellt kritische Fragen!

How are new professors elected? Who makes the decision? And how can I as a student participate to a good choice?
How does it work?
An appointment committee is build in which students actively participate. Several aspects are taken into account, such as i.e. research and teaching. The latter is especially interesting for students and mainly rated by those.
Who is allowed to vote within the appointment committee?
There are three student representatives in this committee which have the same voting power as the other on board.
How can I participate?
Even though you can not directly vote, you can support you representatives making a good choice.
On May 22 three potential candidates are invited to give a teaching and research talk (see the time table below). Additionally the candidates are interviewed by the students alone. Therefore we need your help! Come to the talks and ask skeptical questions!
